ABOUT WILL MAYER

WIll Mayer started filming snowboard and skateboarding videos for Vans when he was 14 years old. Within a few years, the gifted teenager became a main filmmaker for the brand and subsequently relocated to California to explore opportunities to create inspiring culture/lifestyle content.

With a deep understanding of cinematography through his camera background, and an innate sensitivity towards depicting modern life, Mayer's directing style challenges the borders of documentary, narrative, and high-art content. His storytelling is authentic and organic. A natural traveling filmmaker, Mayer's recent projects for Airbnb/Paypal's commercials "Meet Halfway" and "Euro Trip - Vaguely Planned" and music video for the famous Swedish artist, Steve Angello, have him happily working worldwide.
