ABOUT MAHESH PAILOOR

Born in Minnesota and raised along the coastline of Southern Maine, Mahesh Pailoor started videotaping his surrounding environment at age 10. His undeniable gift for visual storytelling led him to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and later the American Film Institute where he directed and wrote a number of short films that went on to play at film festivals worldwide and won numerous awards including the prestigious Franklin J. Schaffner Fellow Award.

While busily working on projects such as Ed Zwick's web series "Quarterlife," and Best Buy's commercial "An Ordinary Creative Person" - which won Silver at MoFilm-Cannes Lion, Pailoor directed and co-wrote the feature film, BRAHMIN BULLS, produced by philote factory. Pailoor's warm touch of capturing authentic and emotional moments while working with Oscar winner Mary Steenburgen, Oscar nominee Michael Lerner, acclaimed UK/Indian actor Roshan Seth, "Heroes" star Sendhil Ramamurthy, and "Hangover" Justin Bartha, earned great reviews from major publications such as the Village Voice, the Examiner, and the LA Times upon the film's nationwide theatrical release.

Pailoor recently directed branding spots for YAMAHA and NINTENDO with philote factory producing. His tender sensitivity depicting human emotions provides artistic yet feel-good storytelling in both narrative and documentary forms.
